Exchange Policy

At Priyangaa, each silk saree is crafted with love, care, and dedication. While we strive to ensure every saree reaches you perfectly, we understand that sometimes there might be rare instances where an exchange is needed. To make things easy and fair, we’ve outlined our exchange policy clearly below.

What You Need to Know:

  • Exchanges Only:

Each saree you purchase from us is a one-of-a-kind saree, carefully curated and often available in only a single unit. Once your order is placed, the saree is automatically removed from our inventory and is no longer available for others to purchase. Because of this unique and limited nature, it's not feasible for us to offer refunds or locate an identical replacement.

For this reason, we offer exchanges only, and even those are subject to availability within our current collection.

Please Note: We do not offer exchanges for reasons like a change of mind, personal preference, or minor colour differences. 

Exchange Window (Time Limit):

  • You have 24 – 48 hours from the moment your saree is delivered to contact us and start the exchange process. Unfortunately, we can't process exchanges requested after this timeframe.
  • Once we confirm your exchange request, you’ll need to ship the saree back to us within 2 to 7 days.
    Please Note: If this timeframe is exceeded, the saree will not be eligible for exchange under any circumstances.

Conditions for Exchanging a Saree:

To qualify for an exchange, your saree should meet these criteria:

  • Unused and Unwashed: Ensure the saree hasn’t been worn, washed, or altered in any way.
  • Original Condition: Saree should be folded neatly, just as it arrived, with all original packaging and labels intact.
  • No Customizations: Sarees with fall, pico, blouse stitching, or any alterations made by you cannot be exchanged. Sarees purchased with any customization requests prior to shipping are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances. This includes requests such as cutting and sending the blouse piece separately and so on.
  • No Sale Items: Sarees purchased during special promotions or sales are not eligible for exchange.

How to Exchange (Step-by-step):

Step 1: Reach Out to Us (within 24 – 48 hours)

  • Mention your order number and a brief explanation of why you’d like an exchange.

Step 2: Ship Back the Saree

  • After contacting us, carefully pack and ship the saree back to the address we provide.
  • You will need to pay the shipping charges for sending the saree back.
  • Once you have shipped the saree for exchange, please make sure to share the tracking ID with us. This allows us to monitor the return shipment and ensure a smooth and timely exchange process. 

Step 3: Choose Your Exchange

  • Once we receive your saree, our team will perform a quick quality check.
  • If approved, you can choose another saree from our collection within the same price range.
  • If you choose a saree that’s priced lower than your original purchase, please understand the difference amount won’t be refunded. If you select a saree of higher value, you can simply pay the additional amount.
  • The shipping costs of sending the new saree back to you will be covered by us.

Important: No Refund or Cancellation Policy

Please understand that we do not offer refunds or cancellations in any situation. 

  • Once you book a saree through our live session, website, or in-store, cancellations are not allowed. If eligible, you'll need to follow our exchange process.

Exchange Policy for In-store Purchases

Our in-store exchange policy follows the same guidelines as our online policy, with a few important points specific to walk-in purchases:

Key Highlights:

  • No Cancellations or Refunds: Once a saree is purchased in-store, cancellations and refunds are not allowed.
  • Exchange Process (In-Person):
  • Bring the saree along with your bill or purchase receipt to the Experience Center within 24 - 48 hours.
  • Our team will inspect the saree to ensure it meets our exchange conditions.
  • Once approved, you may choose another saree of equal or higher value.
  • If the selected saree is higher in value, you will need to pay the difference.
  • If it is lower in value, no refund or credit will be issued.

Note:

  • Exchanges can be done only once per purchase.

  • We do not offer home pickup or courier-based exchanges for walk-in purchases.

For Our International Customers:

Currently, we’re unable to accept exchanges for international shipments due to logistics. We deeply appreciate your understanding on this.
