The Kanchipuram Pista green silk saree is a beautiful weave that is apt for bridal choices. The delicate hue of the saree is highlighted by the grandeur of elephants woven all throughout the body in silver zari. The saree is designed with a big border on the bottom side and a smaller border on the upper side. Both the borders adorn intricate silver zari detailing that elevates the look of the saree. The big silver zari border carries the traditional mayil and chakram motifs positioned alternately in a row. The heavy silver zari pallu balances the richness of the saree perfectly. The deep pink selvage on the borders gives a contrast definition enhancing the look of the saree even further. 3. Always Dry in Shade: Silk is delicate. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its rich colors. Instead, let it dry in a shaded, airy spot.

4. No Washing Machines or Dryers: Please never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.

5. Wash separately: To prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual

1. Use a Cotton Cloth Bag: Wrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.
