The Kanchipuram grey colour silk saree has an embossed horizontal line texture throughout the body. This exquisite grey silk adorns classic mango motifs with a twist in the design pattern woven in gold zari. The saree flaunts an interestingly contrast coral orange border with a rich gold zari detailing. The contrast coral orange pallu of the saree is designed intricately with gold zari. The saree is paired with a contrast plain coral orange silk blouse fabric with the saree border weaved on one side. The saree is weaved using the traditional korvai technique where the body of the saree is weaved separately and the border is then attached at a later point of time. 2. Subsequent Washes: If dry cleaning isn’t an option later, wash the saree gently in cold water. Do not use detergent. Let it air dry naturally - no wringing, no twisting.

3. Always Dry in Shade: Silk is delicate. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its rich colors. Instead, let it dry in a shaded, airy spot.

4. No Washing Machines or Dryers: Please never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.

5. Wash separately: To prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual

1. Use a Cotton Cloth Bag: Wrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.

2. Let It Breathe: Every few months, take your sarees out, unfold them, and let them enjoy the open air. It helps preserve their texture and keeps any musty smells away.
