The off-white bridal Kanchipuram silk saree is a designer brocade weave that can be considered an evergreen classic. The body of the saree flaunts rich gold zari floral motifs that are woven in a symmetrical fashion. The off-white color of the saree brings in a very calming and pleasant feel when draped.
The saree adorns bright magenta borders that flaunt the traditional peacock motifs in gold zari. The rich gold zari detailing through the borders is further enhanced with a hint of green in the selvedge. The borders are attached to the body of the saree using the traditional Korvai weaving technique. The age-old peacock motifs make the drape even more special for the significance of peacocks relates to immortality, love, passion, and royalty.

4. No Washing Machines or Dryers: Please never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.

5. Wash separately: To prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual

1. Use a Cotton Cloth Bag: Wrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.
