The orange pure silk brocade saree is from our Kanjivaram bridal silk collection that flaunts all the grandeur to make you look stunning on your big day. The double-tone orange color body of the saree is intricately designed with silver zari brocade weave using floral and leaf motifs. The saree adorns double-tone purple borders on either side with a hint of blue selvedge peeking along. The borders of the saree are rich with silver zari detailing consisting of rudraksha motifs, a procession of elephants, and a band of peacocks, all lined up as in a royal wedding. Peacocks and elephants are traditional age-old motifs that are extensively used in Indian heritage weaves, art, and craft works. The pallu of the saree carries of fusion of all colors and looks like the royal courtyard from an architectural perspective. The drape is paired with a Kanchi double-tone orange and purple self-embossed brocade silk blouse fabric carrying the rich saree border on one side. \nStyle this saree with statement Kundan jewelry or pair it with contrast bottle-green emerald accessories to enhance the royal look. 2. Subsequent Washes: If dry cleaning isn’t an option later, wash the saree gently in cold water. Do not use detergent. Let it air dry naturally - no wringing, no twisting.

3. Always Dry in Shade: Silk is delicate. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its rich colors. Instead, let it dry in a shaded, airy spot.

4. No Washing Machines or Dryers: Please never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.

5. Wash separately: To prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual

1. Use a Cotton Cloth Bag: Wrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.

2. Let It Breathe: Every few months, take your sarees out, unfold them, and let them enjoy the open air. It helps preserve their texture and keeps any musty smells away.

3. Keep Moisture Away: Store your sarees in a cool, dry place. Moisture can cause mold or mildew. Gently roll your saree onto saree rods and store it in the cupboard to help maintain its shape and preserve better.

Ironing Your Saree – Do It Right

1. Use a Cotton Barrier: When ironing, never place the hot iron directly on the silk. Instead, place a thin cotton cloth (preferably white) over the saree and press gently with medium heat.

2. No Direct Heat: Avoid steam ironing directly on the silk or zari. It may leave watermarks or dullness.
