The lemon yellow saree with silver border is an interestingly bright weave that has been designed in a monochrome fashion. The lustrous lemon yellow silk body of the saree is highlighted with unique silver zari motifs. The saree flaunts rich silver zari borders on either side that shine bright and enhance the look of the saree. The borders are highlighted with paisley and floral motifs. The paisley motifs date back to the Persian inspirations when looked into history. These are a type of ornamental motifs with a lot of intricacies. This tear-shaped motif with a tapered upper end resembles the mango fruit. Therefore, in Indian origins, the paisleys are also commonly called mango motifs. These paisley motifs carry an auspicious meaning as they represent fertility and fruitful life.\nThe lemon yellow pallu of the saree is intricately designed with heavy silver zari detailing. The drape is paired with a matching lemon yellow blouse fabric carrying the silver zari saree border on one side. The color yellow is considered auspicious in addition to the reds and greens. It is a happy color that brings a sense of positivity and peace. This summer color is believed to bring prosperity and also evoke optimism in one’s life. The lemon yellow saree hold a great amount of significance in the Hindu religion and all women drape in lovely hues of yellow during the Saraswati puja signifying the spring season. The traditional north-Indian weddings hold a special ritual called “haldi” where the bride is draped in a beautiful yellow silk saree and is smeared with fresh turmeric paste!

To make sure your saree stays as beautiful as the day you received it for years, or even generations, here's how to care for it with love and respect.
Caring for Your Silk Saree
1.First Wash
Always opt for dry cleaning for the first wash, to preserve its weave and finish.
2. Subsequent Washes
If dry cleaning isn’t an option later, wash the saree gently in cold water. Do not use detergent. Let it air dry naturally - no wringing, no twisting.
3. Always Dry in Shade
Silk is delicate. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its rich colors. Instead, let it dry in a shaded, airy spot.
4. No Washing Machines or Dryers
Please never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk saree. These methods can severely damage its fabric and zari work.
5. Wash separately
To prevent colour transfer, wash the main body of the saree separately from the zari (border and pallu), as they may be dyed differently.

Storing Your Saree – A Gentle Ritual
1. Use a Cotton Cloth Bag
Wrap your saree in a soft, breathable cotton cloth or bag. Avoid plastic covers — silk loves to breathe.
2. Let It Breathe
Every few months, take your sarees out, unfold them, and let them enjoy the open air. It helps preserve their texture and keeps any musty smells away.
3. Keep Moisture Away
Store your sarees in a cool, dry place. Moisture can cause mold or mildew. Gently roll your saree onto saree rods and store it in the cupboard to help maintain its shape and preserve better.

Ironing Your Saree – Do It Right
1. Use a Cotton Barrier
When ironing, never place the hot iron directly on the silk. Instead, place a thin cotton cloth (preferably white) over the saree and press gently with medium heat.
2. No Direct Heat
Avoid steam ironing directly on the silk or zari. It may leave watermarks or dullness.
